Can I wear jewellery?
Wearing jewellery increases the chances of you or your partner
being injured in class. Watches, rings, earrings, necklaces - these
can all get caught on clothing and be ripped out, taking your flesh
with it!, or poking your partner somewhere painfully. You run the
risk of losing the item as well.
If you just got your ears pierced (or something else!) speak with
Sensei about wearing studs if possible, as they tend to not catch
on people or clothing as much as other styles.
Take the time to speak with Sensei if you have questions about
jewellery worn for religious reasons.
